🚚💐 Floral Box Deliveries

You will receive one box via The USPS from couch + cork. No signature is needed - the box will be left for you if no one is home. Your box likely will not arrive until 6/16.

All boxes include:

  • A gift card taped to the top inside of the box - pick up a bottle of whatever you’d like. Need inspiration? This is the time of year for sparkling and rosé. Consider trying a new-to-you sparkling wine, maybe Crémant de Limoux? Franciacorta? Or, if pink is your thing, a rosé d’Anjou from France’s Loire Valley is a much-maligned but incredible example of rosé. Vinho Verde is also perfect, and low alcohol, this time of year - it’s fizzy and comes in white and pink varieties.

  • A pair of small, sharp, wire cutters also taped to the top inside of the box. Be careful!

  • An instructions sheet. It will have a few reminders, helpful tips and photos.

  • A half-ball of floral foam in a zip-lock bag. Floral foam is a necessary evil this project and one that can make a bit of a mess during the process - leave in the bag until the event.

  • A garbage bag to protect your workspace. While this activity doesn’t require any liquids, adhesives or anything else messy, the floral foam leaves an annoying green dust all around your workspace. Lay the bag down and work on it so that you can just fold it up and throw it away. It’s also a great way to catch your cuttings. You’ll have lots!

If you are having trouble with delivery, please email info@couchandcork.com or text/call 802.440.0437 and we will assist you! In the unlikely event something is damaged in shipping, we’re here to help - email, text or call, whichever you prefer.

The Art of Florals

couch + cork founder, Nancy, will lead you through making an arrangement of artificial flowers and greenery atop a wine bottle. You’ll learn about the rules of floral arranging (before promptly eschewing them with a firm hand!), the rich history of flowers as symbols, colors, textures and so much more. Most importantly: Janine will lead you through fulfilling conversation and connection as you enjoy taking time to just be creative and do what feels right.

As you arrange, learn about the flowers in your design, floral arranging and so, so many more.

Setup

Setting up your studio will take just a few minutes.

Your kit contains a garbage bag. While there are no liquids, sticky things, glitter or adhesive in your box, floral foam is messy while being used!

We recommend laying the garbage bag on your work surface for even easier cleanup. Unwrap your floral foam and artificial flowers and place on your worksite.

Pour yourself a glass of wine! Please, work near an outlet where you can plug in a hair dryer. You’ll need to dry the background after painting it.

Time to get Excited

🎥 Your presenters get a little self-conscious when they’re talking to empty squares, please turn on your camera for the event! Believe us, it’s waaaaaaaay more fun when everyone jumps on camera and interacts! Speaking of which…

🙋🏽‍♀️ We are highly interactive and love to answer questions and make the tasting perfect for our guests. We’ll use the chat, and Zoom’s reactions and hand-raising functionality to make sure we get to everything. If you’ve got something to say, let us know – we want to hear it! There will be someone monitoring reactions and the chat to make sure we get to everyone.

🍷 If you’d like us to talk about the wine you ordered, just let us know! Just email or text us a bottle shot and we’ll make sure to include your wine in the event!

✅ Please make sure your Zoom display name matches the name you registered with. This helps us during trivia and throughout the event when we’re chatting with you! We don’t want to call you “Grandma’s iPad!”

The event starts at 7 pm (EST), but… please feel free to join the waiting room at 6:45 EST for some fun trivia and the chance to win prizes from Zoom.

Any questions? Call, email, text… we’re around. ALSO: we never keep, save, share or sell your phone number or email address.

Zoom is thrilled to have you for Moments at the Table, a curated extension of Zoom’s Women in Leadership Series Series, hosted by CIO Advisor Janine Moreno.

Expect the meaningful connections, creative expression and thoughtful conversation that happens when powerful women come together.

The summer Moments at the Table is “Bloom, Sip, Lead,” a virtual, guided floral arranging experience led by woman-owned couch + cork.

Janine will explore how creativity, mindfulness, and community can cultivate clarity and leadership in full bloom as Nancy guides you through how to style a thoughtful gift - for someone else or even yourself.

Take a moment—because when women pause with purpose, powerful things bloom.

Join us for a joyful evening celebrating women leaders and the power of creativity in full bloom
