Two (2) 50 mL bottles Blanco tequila
Two (2) 50 mL bottles of Grand Marnier
If you are located in Canada, you will receive a Giftogram via email along with a list of cocktail ingredients.
Place everything except the hop flower garnish in the fridge.
Make sure to make ice for your tasting. If you have cocktail tools, great, but if not you can still make the cocktail.
About the Experience
Meet us on Zoom where couch + cork’s internationally-certified experts will lead you through not just making this delicious cocktail, but soooooo much more.
You’ll learn about cocktails, of course, but in true couch + cork fashion, your experience will weave in history, botany and more facts than you can shake a hop flower at. Who knows the next time these topics will come up at your favorite trivia night?! You’ll walk away understanding tequila, cognac, mixology and even cranberries better than you knew you could.
Your kit makes two-three cocktails, so be sure to bring a family member or friend on camera for all the fun, learning and laughter Zoom is bringing your way in just a few days.
Meet Your Mixologist
Your mixologist for the evening is Nancy, founder of couch + cork. Nancy is an internationally-certified wine and spirits expert who started her professional journey as a middle school teacher. She brings a signature blend of warmth, humor and curiosity to every tasting while encouraging conversation, connection and questions.
Armed with deep knowledge, Nancy breaks down ingredients, gustatory science, history, culture and so much more to create a journey through making and enjoying a cocktail together. You’ll learn more than you thought a glass could ever hold and leave armed not only with a new cocktail recipe but also the knowledge to craft it to your exact liking.
While from Brooklyn, Nancy chose Bennington, VT as her home and loves being part of this special community. Find her enjoying local music and arts or exploring the wilderness with her husband and their dog, Spreadsheet. When she’s not out and about, Nancy enjoys reading, writing, tabletop gaming, entertaining and always has music on.
