Terms of Service
Last Updated: January 2, 2026
Welcome to couch + cork. These Terms of Service outline the general policies governing use of our website and participation in our services.
By accessing our website or participating in a couch + cork experience, you agree to these Terms.
Services and Agreements
couch + cork provides virtual and in-person educational experiences, including wine, spirits, culinary, and creative workshops.
For corporate or private events, final terms—including pricing, scope, and scheduling—are governed by the signed proposal, agreement, or invoice between couch + cork and the hosting organization. Where a separate written agreement exists, that agreement controls.
Scheduling and Rescheduling
We understand that schedules may change. Corporate or private events may be rescheduled with at least 10 business days’ notice prior to the scheduled event date.
Rescheduling requests made after this window may be subject to additional fees or limitations, particularly if event materials have already been prepared or shipped.
Materials and Shipping
For events that include shipped materials:
Clients and participants are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
couch + cork will communicate shipping timelines in advance.
Once materials have shipped, they are considered fulfilled and are not refundable.
If a shipment is returned or misdelivered due to an incorrect address, couch + cork will make reasonable efforts to resend materials, and additional shipping costs may apply.
Delivery timelines are subject to carrier operations and conditions outside our control.
Event Participation
We strive to create welcoming, professional, and engaging experiences for all participants.
couch + cork reserves the right to mute, remove, or restrict participation of any attendee whose behavior is disruptive, inappropriate, or interferes with the event experience.
Recording and Event Materials
To protect intellectual property and the participant experience, couch + cork events may not be recorded without prior written permission.
We may provide written recaps or summaries following an event for reference purposes. These materials are provided for internal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or reused for training, commercial, or public purposes without written permission.
All educational content, materials, guides, and formats remain the intellectual property of couch + cork.
Alcohol Responsibility
couch + cork does not sell or ship alcohol directly. Participants are responsible for complying with all local laws regarding alcohol purchase and consumption and are expected to participate responsibly.
Third-Party Services
Some events may involve third-party platforms, shipping providers, or vendors. couch + cork is not responsible for service interruptions, delays, or failures caused by third-party providers.
Force Majeure
couch + cork is not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, carrier disruptions, platform outages, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will make good-faith efforts to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, couch + cork shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in our services or use of our website.
Changes to These Terms
couch + cork may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or participation in our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
